Valley Corvettes member TJ Hofhines spoke about his Drivers 4 Hope charity at the recent club meeting. TJ & Hillary and their team created the foundation to give kids facing their own hardships a moment to escape, to be present, and to feel free. Their motto is 'Igniting Futures/Accelerating Dreams' in children, provides them a 'hero' moment. Their mission statement is "Providing children affected by hardship, unforgettable race-car experiences that capture the thrill of the track, and supporting passionate, skilled drivers with the tools needed to accelerate their future." Breakthrough T1D (formally known as JDRF) -At Breakthrough T1D, we're leading the fight against type 1 diabetes (T1D) by funding research, advocating for policies that accelerate access to new therapies, and providing a support network for millions of people around the world impacted by T1D. Valley Corvettes hosted the VetteFest '25 three day event that benefitted Breakthrough T1D and gave them a check for over $25,000!

Boise Adaptive Snowsport Education (BASE) - BASE is the adaptive ski and snowboard program at Bogus Basin for children and adults with physical and/or developmental disabilities.

Blue Ribbon Rally - Idaho Urologic Institute (IUI) has sponsored the Blue Ribbon Rally for Prostate Cancer Awareness.

Camp Hodia - We provide educational camps and programs for youth with type 1 diabetes regardless of their ability to pay.

COBS - Community Outreach Behavioral Services - provides Idaho statewide anti-trafficking services.

Cystic Fibrosis - Valley Corvettes has raised over $484,000 from 1994 to 2003 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Idaho Chapter.

Girl Scouts of Silver Sage - Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Idaho Food Bank - 75,000+ Idaho children face food insecurity – the lack of access at times to enough food to support a healthy and active lifestyle.

Kids First Cast - Kids First Cast Inc. helps children build stronger bonds with their families through fishing.

Meridian Food Bank - provided birthday bags and much needed TP!

Mini Joys - Mini Joys is a nonprofit outreach that uses gentle miniature horses and big-hearted volunteers to bring joy and hope to those who are struggling.

Personal Ponies - Personal Ponies wants to reach out to anyone who may be "differently able" no matter what the condition or situation.

Purses with a Purpose - Help us fill Purses with what Women in need... really Need. With all donations received we stuff the purses with love once a month & distribute them to crisis centers, homeless & domestic violence shelters in our Treasure valley.

Shepherd's Home - Provide a safe and loving home to children who are victims of abuse, neglect or crisis.

Shop With A Cop - The "Shop With A Cop" program pairs a young person with a Boise Police officer twice a year for a shopping excursion at a local retailer.

Toys For Tots - Valley Corvettes invites the Toys for Tots Marines to their annual Christmas party. The proud Marines collect all of the toys that the club & members have donated for Toys for Tots.

Treasure Valley Children’s Theater - Empowering youth through the transformative power of the arts.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Adopt A Highway - Since 1998, twice a year Valley Corvettes has been picking up trash on their adopted section of Highway 55 near Horseshoe Bend.

Boise Veterans Day Parade - since 2002 Valley Corvettes has been participating in this parade carrying Veterans from various wars and conflicts. Many of our club members are Veterans themselves!
